Our in-house engineers were involved in dismantling a Soilmec SR-100 of 150 tons to reduce the weight of the main unit to 103 tons in order to ship it on a Ro-Ro Ship. It was necessary to reduce the weight as the feeder Ro-Ro ship at transhipment port has a ramp capacity of 120 tons only. Kelly Bar and other parts were transported on two mafis.
