Our overland transportation service to GCC countries continues amidst partial border closures due to Covid-19.
Whilst UAE trucks can enter into Oman, Saudi Arabia still restricts foreign drivers entering into their territory, unless for essential commodities, due to which movements to Kuwait and Bahrain have been affected. But thanks to our long term contracts with Saudi trucks and drivers, we continue to send temperature-controlled and non-essential cargo to GCC countries.

We handled several gantry and bridge cranes, some measuring 42 meters long with a weight of 29 tons, on a door-to-door basis from Shanghai, China to Abu Dhabi, UAE.

We recently handled a Metering Skid measuring 8.05 x 5.50 x 6.15 meters – 25 tons in an FLS-owned Flat Rack container on an EXW basis from the supplier’s premises in Jebel Ali to Kuwait.
The complexity of this move was to obtain permission from both container terminals and special JAFZA security permits for the road movement as terminal operations wanted to load this in day-light. Once attained, our experienced Ops and lashing team positioned and lashed the skid on F/R as per the COG. The result: a job well done at an economical price.
