We were contracted to handle 4 vessel mounted skids from India to Egypt each measuring 16 x 3.5 x 5.2 meters and weighing 60 tons. Our scope of work was to transport the skids from Haryana to Nhava Sheva, a journey of 1700 kms crossing 4 Indian states and freight to Egypt.

The client was provided a detailed Route study, Journey Management Plan and Lifting method of statement by our in-house Engineers.

We were met with plenty of challenges like road restrictions due to Covid-19 lockdown and climatical issues. Despite the hurdles, we managed to tow the trailer skids to JNP port in 19 days. The skids were then loaded on Hapag-Lloyd AG as Break Bulk to its final destination Damietta.
